Biography
I am a photographer living in a small village the midlands of England. I was born and lived most of my life in Wisconsin in the United States – another heartland. Since 2014 I have called England my home.
Although I have casually photographed for many years I was bitten by the photo bug in 2007. I love all aspects and genres of photography from macro and landscape to abstract and pinhole on film. Throughout the years I have used a variety of Canon and Fuji cameras and more recently has returned to film photography using 35mm, medium format, and pinhole cameras.
I participate in competitions and have been shortlisted twice in Landscape Photographer of the Year and won or placed in regional competitions both in the UK and the USA. As satisfying as doing well in a competition is, the joy of photography is in the moment of making an interesting image and then being able to share it with others as a print. For me this creative process is central to living a meaningful life.
My images are on display at the GALLERY AT THE GUILD in Chipping Campden and on-line with AFTER ART in Folkestone. I am one of three female photographers who comprise the group Take 3. Take 3 currently exhibits throughout the Midlands
